Mom trying to stay sane and survive the cleaning in June.
Mom is trying to stay sane in June!

We thought we’d do something a little different with this month’s blog post 😅

Instead of pretending everyone has the extra time right now to deep-clean baseboards and organize junk drawers, we figured we’d just pay a little homage to the parents who are out here absolutely giving it everything they’ve got during the June chaos and trying to survive cleaning.

This time of year is a lot.

June always starts with good intentions.

And then suddenly:

  • there’s a school concert on Tuesday

  • year-end gifts to buy

  • sports tournaments every weekend

  • your kids are eating 14 snacks a day

  • someone needs a ride somewhere at all times

  • and your house somehow looks messy 17 minutes after you cleaned it.

This time of year feels busy in every possible way.

Most people are just trying to survive until summer break officially starts 😂

The routines that usually keep life manageable kind of disappear in June. Dinner gets pushed later, backpacks explode across the floor, extra shoes somehow appear by the front door, and every surface starts collecting random piles of “we’ll deal with it later.”

And if you have pets? Forget it!

We notice it every year in our routine cleaning. People aren’t trying to create spotless magazine houses right now — they just want things to feel calmer, fresher, and a little more manageable while life gets hectic.

That’s why regular maintenance cleaning can make such a difference during busy seasons.

It’s about:

  • not falling completely behind

  • not spending your entire weekend catching up

  • walking into a home that feels reset

  • and having one less thing sitting in the back of your mind

And during end-of-school season…that is a huge sanity saver.

Because between school wrap-ups, camping prep, vacations, sports, and trying to remember if you signed the permission form that’s been sitting on the counter for 4 days, most people are stretched pretty thin this month.

So if your house feels a little chaotic right now, you’re definitely not alone.

Now excuse us while we go vacuum another staircase full of sand, Goldfish crackers, and mystery fluff ✨
